November 30, 2015 by admin

nflStarsGergenSAINT LOUIS, MO – Former NFL Superstars, Roy Green CARDINALS/EAGLES Wide Receiver, Eric Dickerson RAMS/COLTS/RAIDERS Running Back, Jackie Smith CARDINALS/COWBOYS Tight End, Isaiah Robertson, RAMS/BILLS Linebacker, this Saturday December 12th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Mama Campisi’s Restaurant to hear them explain that despite the fame of a professional sports career, these retired stars are members of your community and want to contribute to your overall health awareness with regards to snoring and sleep apnea and how it seriously affects our health.

David Gergen, President of the Pro Player Health Alliance “PPHA” knows that millions of people are not aware how poor sleep is affecting their health and overall well-being. “We all know what loud snoring is, but may not realize it can also be a symptom of sleep apnea”. Bad sleep habits are also responsible for many serious health problems such as, Drowsy Driving, Memory Problems, Type 2 Diabetes, Depression, Heart Disease, Moodiness and even Erectile Dysfunction.

Larry Frost Chapter President for the NFL Former Players Association St. Louis Chapter wants the public to join them for this free event to hear how former NFL players have benefited from understanding more about their sleep health and what has personally motivated them to become so involved in helping the public learn more.

“Recently the news has been filled with sleep related deaths that can be linked directly to sleep apnea. These we know about because of their high public visibility but we know that there are thousands upon thousands of deaths that don’t make the news each year. The majority of these thousands of deaths are everyday people who walked through their dentist or primary care physicians doors unscreened and untested” David Gergen PPHA

Also attending the event with be health experts and Dentists Bill Busch, Jay Ohmes and Kevin Postol, who will be available to answer your sleep health related questions and offer recommendations as to best practices and treatment.
